Evi (Guildford Surrey)
Part time Italian teacher for beginners. I enable learners to hold a basic
conversation in Italian on everyday matters.
As a part time teacher to Beginners Pre-GCSE and A2, I take care of the
academic progress of the learners planning and preparing courses, providing
accurate and updated classes using a wide range of resources (including IWB
and PP), supplying support and practice for exams, evaluating and assessing
achievements. I help them gaining confidence in using a foreign language and an
interest in the social and cultural issues of a foreign country. I also cover the role
of internal verifier for Edexcel A level Italian.
Full time teacher during the summer courses. My teaching involved working with
multilingual and monolingual classes of teenagers and adults from beginners to
advanced level, carrying out both teaching and administrative duties.
Between 2003-2005 I spent a year each, teaching Italian full time in Prague and
Madrid to adults from beginners to advanced. I have arranged curricula, set up the
syllabus of the courses, ran language workshops, participated in cultural and
promotional events. In addition, I was also appointed as an examiner for CELI
and CILS, certifications for the Italian language.

I am a member of the Associazione Italiana Formatori (AIF) - Italian Association of Trainers/Teachers. I have vast experience in consulting and teaching Soft Skills and Communications skills, Leadership and Change, and Organization Development for Managers and Business people.
I believe that my experience together with my education, make me an excellent tutor.
